Get Started with Scrapbooking Kits
Scrapbooking is a great way to share with your future children the memories of your past. It is also a good way to show your children when they are older since people do not exactly remember everything about their childhood and past. If you have no idea on how to start your scrapbooking, there are scrapbooking kits that you can buy in stores nationwide. What are the things you should keep in mind in terms of scrapbooking?
First, you should pick a theme. Sure you have pictures but do you really want to compile everything into just one scrapbook? The best thing to do is to group the pictures accordingly and make scrapbooks for each of the special moments in your life. For instance, you can put your children’s baptism, first communion, confirmation and so on if you are a Catholic. Then you can make another scrapbook for your children’s grade school then high school days.
The second thing that should come would be the use of scrapbooking kits. 
Since you have the pictures already, you need to have the embellishments to go with it. There are a lot of scrapbooking packages that are of the same theme. So for instance, your scrapbook would be about your baby, there are kits that concentrate on that. It includes cut outs and stickers of feeding bottles, baby blocks, cribs, etc.
Choosing the paper is also critical. So if you are going to make a baby scrapbook, you can choose from the scrapbooking kits what type and color. If your baby is a boy use blue and if your baby is a girl you can use a delicate pink paper.
There are no rules to scrapbooking. It is totally up to you what you want to do with it because it is your personal album.
